Dr Tom Craig-Cameron, PhD Genetics, BSc, TKT
Group Director (British)

Formerly Director of the British Council in Malaysia and Pakistan, he has many years of management experience in education including chairing the quality assurance scheme for English language schools throughout the UK. He was also Counsellor for Education and Culture at the British Embassy in China and Education Attaché at the British Embassy in Washington DC, USA.



Ms Sue Back, BA Geography, PGCE, Cambridge CELTA
Academic Director (UK)

A highly qualified and professionally accredited teacher in UK where she specialised in teaching primary school students, Sue also is a qualified English language teacher and has taught English to junior and secondary students in Japan and Malaysia. She is specially trained in teaching handwriting, spelling and reading skills.


Ms Emma Talbot, BA Psychology & Sociology, Cambridge DELTA and CELTA
Senior Teacher - Academic (Canadian)

Holds a double degree in Psychology and Sociology and is qualified as a teacher trainer for Cambridge University’s English language teaching programmes. She has taught English to all levels and age groups in various countries including UK, Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia – where she taught in the British Council in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang.


Mr Andrew Bolderson, BA Philosophy, Cambridge CELTA
Corporate Training Manager (UK)

Andrew taught in China for 8 years in universities and language centres in Dalian, Shanghai, Quanzhou, Ningbo & Xiamen. He has taught all ages and proficiency levels especially teenagers, university students and adults. In addition to regular English classes Andrew has taught creative writing, debating and critical thinking. He has prepared students for IELTS and TOEFL examinations and has taught the staff of major companies such as Bank of China, Volkswagen, and HTC. Before becoming a teacher Andrew worked as a journalist in Wales.


Mr Jamie Carter, BA Business Studies, MA Education, Cambridge CELTA
Senior Teacher - Operations / SQ Centre Manager (UK)

Jamie joined us after working in Perak for 4 years as a mentor to English teachers in 8 primary schools under a major Ministry of Education project. Before that he worked for 6 years as an Instructor and Instruction Manager in a Berlitz language centre in Seoul, South Korea. He has taught English to students of all ages and levels ranging from pre-school children to adults including executives and professionals. He enjoys travelling, photography, hiking, and has a passion for technology.


Mr Denis McDonald, BSc Applied Computing, ITTT TEFL Cert, Cambridge CELTA
BW Centre Manager / Lead Teacher (Ireland)

Denis began his teaching career in South Korea where firstly he taught children of all ages in language centres and formal schools followed by courses for teens and adults including TOEFL preparation courses. He joined us after working as a mentor to English teachers in remote rural schools in Sarawak under a major Ministry of Education project.


Ms Kelly-Anne Bazlik, BA Cultural Anthropology, Cambridge CELTA
BB Centre Manager / Lead Teacher (Canada)

With over 12 years of teaching experience, Kelly-Anne has worked in schools and language centres in Egypt, Kenya, Myanmar, South Korea and Uzbekistan. She has devised and taught English courses to students of all ages and proficiency levels and also has taught literacy and numeracy courses based on the UK National Curriculum. She joined us from Lundu in Sarawak where she mentored English teachers in local schools under a major Ministry of Education project.


Mr Christopher Storer, BA International Studies, Cambridge CELTA
BM Centre Manager / Lead Teacher (UK)

Chris has over 20 years of English instruction under his belt, ten of which were with the British Council, having worked in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Cambodia. His impressive breadth of experience ranges from young learners and general teen and adult classes to Cambridge KET, PET, FCE, CAE and IELTS exams. Chris managed the British Council’s Corporate Training Programme in Riyadh and has held other mentor, Project Manager and School Director roles during his career. Chris has two children here in Malaysia and enjoys long trips on his faithful motorbike.

Mr Barry Paul Jones, BA History, Cambridge CELTA (UK)
Barry taught children and adults in Beijing for over four years before moving to Indonesia where he taught mainly school-age children. In between he taught English at a UK summer school for teenagers. He enjoys organising extra-curricular activities for his students and meeting parents and customers. Before becoming a teacher Barry was an office manager in London.



Mr Benjamin Davies, BA History & Politics, MA TESOL, Cambridge CELTA & CELTA-YL (UK)
Ben joined us after teaching in Vietnam for 2 years where he prepared and taught classes to young learners, adults and corporate clients. Before that he taught English at several summer schools in UK and undertook voluntary teaching including a spell working with street children in Ecuador. He enjoys travel, outdoor activities, reading and music – he plays guitar and double bass.



Ms Daphne Fanning, BA History, TEFL Diploma (USA)
Daphne has taught English to all ages and levels in specialist English centres and in a school in both Vietnam and Indonesia. She has particular experience in teaching phonics and reading to pre-school children, and has mentored and helped to train other teachers. Before taking up her teaching career Daphne held management posts in USA.



Ms Emilia Fuller, BA Philosophy, CertTESOL (UK)
Emilia taught English as a Second Language to all ages and levels at the Prince of Wales’ Island School in Penang. Before that she worked on magazines in Malaysia and China and at various companies in UK including Asia House and the major bookshop Waterstones. She has travelled extensively in Asia, South America and Europe.



Ms Emily Jane Outram, BA Japanese, Cambridge CELTA & CELTA-YL (UK)
Emily first worked as a Japanese-English translator for a major company. After gaining her English teaching certificate she worked for a major language school in Vietnam where she was promoted to senior teacher. She has taught students of all ages and proficiency levels including those preparing for Cambridge exams from Starters to FCE levels. Emily enjoys travel and has visited over 40 countries.



Mr Garvan Sheehan, BA Media Production, MEd Applied Linguistics, TEFL Cert (Ireland)
Garvan taught English for over 8 years in China at all levels from kindergarten to university students and adult IT professionals. He has worked in different types of schools including China’s biggest language centre network, a university, primary and secondary schools, and a kindy. Garvan is especially interested in cross-cultural communication and socio-cultural linguistics. He is married with one child.


Mr Johann Hyman, BA Drama Studies, Cambridge CELTA (South Africa)
With over six years of teaching experience Johann has taught all ages of learners including pre-school and adults. He fell in love with teaching while tutoring in London and after qualifying, taught in a range of institutions, all the way from kindergartens to companies, around South Korea over the next five years. With a love of psychology and linguistics, as well as the written word, Johann prides himself in preparing student-centred classes, where the enjoyment of the learning process is his main aim. Johann is an avid reader, writer and diver, and has an interest in adrenaline sports.



Ms Judith Louw, BA Psychology, TEFL-Diploma (South Africa)
Judith has taught English to students ranging from beginner to advance level, with experience in general as well as corporate English. She has taught in Language centres in China, South-Korea, Azerbaijan and Vietnam. Most recently she taught phonics to young learners at an international kindergarten in Hanoi. She enjoys reading.



Mr Matthew Beales, Bsc Business Management, Cambridge CELTA (UK)
Matt has taught English to a wide range of learners in Germany and at the Australian Centre for Education in Phnom Penh. He has experience of teaching general English and more specialised business courses and prides himself on preparing and delivering student-centred lessons which engage and progress his learners. In his leisure time, Matt is an avid rock-climber and also enjoys reading and photography.


Mr Matthew Sanders, BA Hons in Advertising & Brand Management, Cambridge CELTA, TYLEC (UK)
Matt has taught a wide range of ages and levels across his seven years in teaching. Before moving to Malaysia he worked in Vietnam and Egypt. Matt has lots of experience teaching IELTS preparation courses to teenagers and adults and is keen on getting students to set well-planned goals and then helping them achieve them. Matt has been married for just over year, and this is his wife's first time living in a different country. In their spare time, Matt and his wife enjoy bird-watching and old movies.



Mr Michael Carr, BA Philosophy, MA HUman Rights, CertTESOL (Australia)
Michael has taught English to all age groups and levels in China, South Korea, Azerbaijan and Vietnam. He has extensive experience in language centres, kindergartens and public schools, and has taught for purposes ranging from business English and English for Academic Purposes to beginner phonics. He joins us after most recently spending 5 years in Hanoi, where he focused on the education of young learners. In his free time, he enjoys playing a range of sports and travelling to new places.



Ms Niamh Fitzpatrick, MA (Hons) Translation and Applied Linguistics (French and Spanish), Cambridge CELTA (Ireland)
Prior to joining Enhance, Niamh spent 3 years teaching English mainly in Spain but also in England and Malta for summer camps. She has taught and prefers to teach a range of ages and levels from primary to Cambridge exam classes but particulary enjoys teaching nursery classes as she finds them rewarding and a lot of fun. In her free time, Niamh enjoys travelling, reading and baking.



Ms Pier Garcia, BSc Pyschology & Sociology, Cambridge CELTA (UK)
Pier has taught students of all ages and levels in UK, Czech Republic and South Korea including Cambridge PET & FCE examination classes. She has also worked as a volunteer with children and adult students in USA and Peru. Pier enjoys drawing and painting, and relaxes with yoga and swimming.
