MR JAMIE CARTER 

Straits Quay Centre Manager & Lead Teacher

Jamie joined us after working in Perak for 4 years as a mentor to English teachers in 8 primary schools under a major Ministry of Education project. Before that he worked for 6 years as an Instructor and Instruction Manager in a Berlitz language centre in South Korea. He has taught English to students of all ages and ranging from pre-school children to adults including executives & professionals. He enjoys photography, hiking and has a passion for technology.

MR DENIS MCDONALD

Butterworth Centre Manager & Lead Teacher

Denis began his teaching career in South Korea where firstly he taught children of all ages in language centres and formal schools followed by courses for teens and adults including TOEFL preparation courses. He joined us after working as a mentor to English teachers in remote rural schools in Sarawak under a major Ministry of Education project.

MR CHRIS TAYLOR

Chris has had extensive experience as a teacher and teacher trainer in ELT, both in the UK and overseas, covering a wide range of teaching and learning contexts at all levels, and a range of specialist groups. His work as an educator has included delivery in both adult and teen education, within EFL and ESOL, from FE to adult community learning within the charity sector. He unwinds by going to concerts, running, discovering new culinary highs and travelling.

MS KELLY-ANNE BAZLIK

With over 12 years of teaching experience, Kelly-Anne has worked in schools and language centres in Egypt, Myanmar, South Korea and Uzbekistan. She has devised and taught English courses to students of all ages and levels and has also taught literacy and numeracy courses based on the UK National Curriculum. She joined us from Lundu in Sarawak where she mentored English teachers in local schools under a major Ministry of Education project.

MS EMMA TALBOT 

Senior Teacher

Holds a double degree in Psychology and Sociology and is qualified as a teacher trainer for Cambridge University’s English language teaching programmes (CELTA, DELTA & TKT), as well as a former IELTS examiner. She has taught English for over 24 years to all levels and age groups in various countries including UK, Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia – where she taught in the British Council in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

MR ANDREW BOLDERSON 

Corporate Training Manager & Lead Teacher

Andrew taught in China for 8 years in universities and language centres in Dalian, Shanghai, Quanzhou, Ningbo & Xiamen. He has taught all ages and proficiency levels especially teenagers, university students and adults. In addition to regular English classes Andrew has taught creative writing, debating and critical thinking. He has prepared students for IELTS and TOEFL examinations and has taught the staff of major companies such as Bank of China, Volkswagen, and HTC. Before becoming a teacher Andrew worked as a journalist in Wales.

Sophia started her career in education while volunteering at a primary school in the US. She earned her teaching certification at the University of North Florida, where she gained valuable experience assistant- teaching Young Adults. She has also lived and taught in Hanoi, Vietnam where she taught general English classes, especially to Young Learners.

Prior to joining Enhance, Niamh spent 3 years teaching English mainly in Spain but also in England and Malta for summer camps. She has taught and prefers to teach a range of ages and levels from primary to Cambridge exam classes but particularly enjoys teaching nursery classes as she finds them rewarding and a lot of fun. Niamh enjoys travelling, reading and baking.

In between, he also taught English at a UK summer school for teenagers. He enjoys organising extra-curricular activities for his students and meeting parents and customers.
